Urban Brothers Appliance Repair LLC
Effective Date: October 2025
By scheduling service, approving an estimate, authorizing diagnostics or repairs (verbally, electronically, or in writing), purchasing or receiving an appliance, or submitting payment, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the Customer and Urban Brothers Appliance Repair LLC.
Customer acceptance occurs when:
• Scheduling service
• Authorizing diagnostic work
• Approving a repair
• Purchasing an appliance
• Submitting payment
These terms supersede any prior conversations, verbal statements, or informal agreements.
2. Scope of Services
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair provides diagnostic, repair, installation, and maintenance services for residential appliances.
Appliances serviced may include:
• Refrigerators
• Freezers
• Ice machines and ice makers
• Washers
• Dryers
• Dishwashers
• Ovens and wall ovens
• Cooktops
• Garbage disposals
Services are limited to residential appliances only unless otherwise agreed.
3. Diagnostic Service Fee
A diagnostic service fee is required for all service calls.
• Diagnostic Fee: $125
• The diagnostic fee is applied toward the repair if the repair is approved and completed during the visit.
The diagnostic fee covers:
• Travel
• Professional inspection
• Problem identification
• Repair estimate
Diagnostic fees are non-refundable once the service has been performed.
4. Repair Authorization
No repairs are performed without customer approval.
Repairs begin only after:
• The technician diagnoses the problem
• The customer approves the repair cost
If the customer declines the repair after diagnosis, only the diagnostic fee is owed.
5. Parts and Labor Warranty
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair provides a 90-day warranty on parts and labor for completed repairs.
Warranty coverage applies only to:
• The specific part replaced
• The specific repair performed
The warranty does not cover unrelated failures or new appliance problems.
Warranty exclusions include:
• Power surges
• Customer misuse
• Pre-existing appliance damage
• Water damage
• Electrical issues within the home
6. Appliance Condition and Pre-Existing Issues
Appliances may have multiple existing problems at the time of service.
Repairing one component does not guarantee that other components will not fail later.
Customers acknowledge that:
• Appliances are mechanical systems with many parts
• Repairing one issue does not prevent unrelated failures
• Additional repairs may be required in the future
7. Used Appliance Sales
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair may sell pre-owned appliances.
Used appliances include:
• Washers
• Dryers
• Refrigerators
Used appliances are sold with:
• A 90-day warranty on parts and labor
The warranty does not cover:
• Cosmetic issues
• Improper installation by others
• Electrical or plumbing problems in the home
8. Installation Services
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair may provide appliance installation services.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
• Electrical connections meet code
• Water supply lines are functional
• Gas supply lines are properly installed
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair is not responsible for pre-existing plumbing, electrical, or gas supply issues.
9. Dryer Safety and Fire Risk Disclaimer
Dryers rely on proper airflow and venting to operate safely.
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair is not responsible for house fires, overheating, or damages caused by clogged dryer vents, improper installation, restricted airflow, or failure to maintain the dryer vent system.
Customers are responsible for:
• Maintaining a clean dryer vent system
• Ensuring proper ventilation
• Scheduling vent cleaning when necessary
10. Sealed System and Refrigeration Repairs
Refrigeration appliances may require sealed system work.
Sealed system repairs may involve:
• Refrigerant recovery
• Leak detection
• System recharging
• Compressor replacement
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair cannot guarantee the lifespan of sealed system repairs due to possible hidden leaks or internal system contamination.
11. Property Access and Safety
Customers must provide safe access to the appliance being serviced.
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair is not responsible for:
• Moving heavy furniture
• Structural damage caused by pre-existing conditions
• Obstructions preventing access to appliances
12. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of service.
Accepted payment methods may include:
• Cash
• Credit card
• Debit card
• Cash App
• Venmo
• Apple Pay
• Check
Returned checks may incur additional fees.
Failure to pay may result in collection action.
13. Appointment Cancellation Policy
Customers must provide notice if an appointment must be cancelled or rescheduled.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a service charge.
14. Limitation of Liability
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair is not responsible for:
• Food loss
• Property damage caused by appliance failure
• Indirect or consequential damages
The maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the service.
15. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service
Urban Brothers Appliance Repair reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a customer is:
• Hostile
• Abusive
• Unreasonable
• Creating an unsafe work environment
Service may be terminated even if the repair is incomplete.
No refunds will be issued for work already performed.
16. Media and Documentation
Technicians may photograph or document appliances for diagnostic and training purposes.
No personal customer information will be publicly disclosed without consent.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Any disputes must be resolved in the appropriate courts located within Texas.
